Lindsey C. Arviso, MD has professional interests in laryngology and disorders of the voice, swallow, and airway. She has particular interest in voice disorders with expertise in treatment of vocal fold paralysis, benign and malignant vocal fold lesions, chronic cough, and laryngeal reflux. Dr. Arviso specializes in voice care for singers and other professional voice users.
She attended medical school at University Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She then went on to complete her internship and residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Her fellowship in laryngology and voice care took place at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Arviso has published several scientific articles, text book chapters and is actively involved in local and regional education of voice disorders for Speech Pathologists.
She is married with three children and enjoys traveling, pilates and is a fan of all genres of voice and musical performance.
